1. m. Juego de origen escocés, que consiste en impeler con un palo especial una pelota pequeña para introducirla en una serie de hoyos abiertos en un terreno extenso cubierto ordinariamente de césped. Gana el jugador que hace el recorrido con el menor número de golpes.
